Italia qendrore është e tronditur nga një katastrofë. Një lëkundje e fortë tërmeti me magnitudë 6:00 që ra në orën 03: 36 minuta të 24 gushtit ka shkaktuar deri tani mbi 130 viktima dhe 368 të plagosur. 

Shifra konfirmohet nga kryeministri Renzi gjate vizitës ne rajonin e prekur, ndërsa bilanci mund të rritet.


Ndërkohë toka vazhdon të dridhet. Mbi 100 lëkundje tërmeti janë numëruar deri tani, të paktën 55 prej tyre janë me magnitudë 3- 3.36. Lëkundja e fundit me magnitudë 4.9 u regjistrua rreth orës 14:00.

Epiqendra e tërmetit ka qenë rreth dy km nga qyteti i Accumolit dhe 10 km nga Arquata del Tronto dhe Amatrice, transmeton oranews.

Amatrice pothuajse nuk ekziston më. Tashmë është kthyer në rrënojë. Nën gërmadha ka dhjetëra persona” ishte dëshmia e parë e kryetarit të komunës.
