Exhumation of KLA heroes: Martyr had ammunition with him in the grave

Six martyrs of the Vrellë of Istog were exhumed from the graves where they rested for over two decades.

In fact, the exhumation of one of them required the assistance of the KSF, as it was buried with ammunition.

Their remains were sent to the morgue until a date for reburial at the memorial complex is set.

"First they go to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, then we set a date to be undertaken in coordination with the families, with the KSF, and with the state, as befits them, in the most dignified way possible, to respect the martyrs as befits them," a family member told Klan Kosova.

This entire exhumation process, which began in Vrellë, is being done so that the 47 fallen from the Istog municipality can be laid to rest in one place.

Opening new graves at the memorial complex was not easy for the family members.

"We still have a little pain, but we have more pride," added one of them.

"It's not easy, it's a bit boring, but I have more power, I had the power to decide and take them to the complex there."

The reburial of the brave men of Vrella is expected to take place on June 20, while tributes will be paid every April 12 on the day of the martyrs of Istog.
