Violating visa conditions in the United States can have serious and long-term consequences.
Any intentional act to deceive US authorities, including providing false information during the visa application process, constitutes a violation of the law and is strictly punishable.
And today the Embassy of the United States of America reminded us of this in a post on Facebook.
The U.S. Embassy emphasizes that if you lie to obtain a visa, work without legal permission, or remain in the United States after your visa or visa waiver period expires, you will face severe penalties.
"If you lie to obtain a visa, work without legal authorization, or remain in the United States after your visa or visa waiver period expires, you will face severe penalties. These include imprisonment, deportation, and a permanent ban on obtaining a U.S. visa in the future," the U.S. Embassy said in a post. /Telegraph/
